Refund and Store Credit Policy

Custom apparel is produced specifically for each customer and cannot be restocked or resold. For this reason, Clothing Lab does not offer cash refunds on completed orders. However, we stand behind our work — if we made a production error, we will make it right through store credit.

1. All Sales Are Final

Once an order has been approved at the mockup stage and entered production, it is considered a confirmed custom order. All confirmed orders are final and are not eligible for cancellation, return, or cash refund.
This policy applies to all products including t-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, hats, bags, and any other custom decorated apparel produced by Clothing Lab.

2. Store Credit for Production Errors

Clothing Lab will issue store credit in the following circumstances:
⦁ The finished product contains a printing or embroidery error that was not present in the approved mockup
⦁ The wrong garment tier, colour, or size was produced compared to what was confirmed in your order
⦁ The decoration placement differs significantly from the approved mockup
⦁ The garment arrives with a manufacturing defect that renders it unwearable
Store credit will be issued for the value of the affected items only. Store credit does not expire and can be applied to any future Clothing Lab order.

3. Colour Variation Exclusion

Minor colour variations between the approved digital mockup and the finished garment are explicitly excluded from store credit eligibility. As noted in our Terms and Conditions and on all client mockups, finished garment colours may vary slightly from digital representations due to screen calibration, ink batch variation, and fabric composition. These variations are inherent to garment decoration and do not constitute a production error.

4. What Is Not Covered

The following situations are not eligible for store credit or any form of compensation:
⦁ Design errors in artwork submitted by the customer that were approved at the mockup stage
⦁ Minor colour variations between the approved mockup and the finished garment due to screen calibration, ink variation, or fabric composition — as noted in our Terms and Conditions and on all client mockups
⦁ Size or fit dissatisfaction — we strongly recommend reviewing size information carefully before confirming your order
⦁ Changes of mind after mockup approval
⦁ Damage caused after delivery
⦁ Delays caused by the customer failing to respond to mockup approvals or communications in a timely manner
⦁ Designs that were flagged during our review process but proceeded with customer authorisation

5. How to Submit a Claim

If you believe your order qualifies for store credit, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. To submit a claim:
⦁ Email customersupport@clothinglab.ca with your order number in the subject line
⦁ Include clear photos of the issue showing the defect or error
⦁ Include a brief description of the problem and how it differs from your approved mockup
We will review your claim within 3 business days and respond with a decision. Approved store credit will be issued to your account within 5 business days of claim approval.

6. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled without charge at any time before mockup approval. Once you have approved your mockup, the order enters production and cannot be cancelled. To request a cancellation before mockup approval, email customersupport@clothinglab.ca with your order number.
